apart from the colour are there any differences between this Cocoa Furby and the "Funk" ones.

They are exactly the same except different colours, some being more popular than others. The mechanics of the thing works the same as the description indicates its a new generation furby with the extra functions.

The grey must have been a more popular colour as I can't find any in stock around my area

thats a shame, my daughter got the cocoa one last year for christmas but, as intended by the furby marketing dept, she wants a funky furby this time :rolleyes:
