The glitter lamp is made of plastics and water. You activate the glitter lamp by shaking it and then you will see the characters inside the lamp illuminated in a glittering swirl of colour changing lights. The lights change colours from red to green to blue in sequence and the lamp will turn itself off after a short period of time. Instructions for the glitter lamp are displayed on the product box. As it is lightweight, it is perfect for a child to carry with them.

hate to put a boring h&s dampener on peoples enthusiasm for a bargain, but a lot of the reviews complain about the small size, quite a few have arrived broken and one even says their son burned himself on one of these, so be careful if you're giving this to a small child

received mine today is smaller than i thought but looks nice for the price , top of the box was damaged and 1 of the 3 screws underneath has rusted? & left brown & orange stains on the lamp & packaging

that sounds like the battery's leaked , have you tried it to see if it's working? Mine arrived yesterday , only had a quick look as the kids were by me and it's a present for my daughter.
