  • Afraid I can't help and I'm sure you will get a response on here but you might get a better one on the tax board! :)

Go to Inland Revenue website - print off form P50 to re-claim income tax. You may not get it 'til after then end of the current tax year though cos you might earn dome more taxable wages

yes, you will be able to reclaim the tax paid.

normally you would wait until the tax year end (5 th april 2007) and write to the tax man (hopefully you know your tax office...if not look up inland revenve or HMRC in the phone book and ask).

But if you do not expect to work again this tax year, you could write and say you won't be working again and ask for the tax back. also if you have any savings and pay tax on those you can claim that back too .

but you wont get NI back

  • Mennie,

i would speak to the IR and request a Tax Return for this financial year, you shopuld receive one after March next year and fill that in.

i would recommend purchasing some tax software for your computer as this works out the level of your rebate (if any) and advises what you can claim for.

if you work again this tax year and have a p45 then yes you will get an tax adjustment (refund) in your next pay.
