Festive dinnerware

Hi everyone,

I would really love to get a nice festive dinner service but am struggling to find things that are a set IFYKWIM?

I can get plates say from Debenham's, cup's from Mark's etc

Has anyone spied anything on their travels?

Thank you :T

I've got these, it's taken 9 years to build up the collection but it's beautiful , you can also buy them in Debenhams or EBay.

does it have to be really christmas ( ie covered in snowflakes , santas etc ) o do u mean a dinner service suitbale for xmas ?

i bought about 5 yrs ago now a stunning dinner service. it has a really danity gold pattern around the edge. it is a full set included serving platter, gravy boat, bowl, and tea service. I only use it at xmas . it cost around £200 ish. and it has been worth it's weight in gold. but only downside is it doesn't go in dishwasher. luckily i have alot of storage in my dining room , so i can keep this service safe until it is needed.

i do have a selection of red and santa covered tabel ware for when we do a buffet or nibbles over the xmas period.
  • Wilkinsons had some nice Xmasy dinnerwear in on Saturday when I went in, in passing. I can't see any on their website yet tho.

That sounds an altenative idea having festive tableware etc but I really want a Christmas set to use each year.

I saw a set in Mark's last year, remember when they had the 20% offer on at Christmas? I knew I should have got it but I didn't have the spare pennies at the time :o
