Free personalised Santa video

did this for my 5 year old DS last night, he absolutely loved it, couldn't believe Santa knew his name, and he kept replying when Santa spoke to him. thanks OP

I can't get this to work - its saying that my sons name (which is very common) is not recognised - anyone else had this problem and know how to sort it out?

Are you using this site-
http://portablenorthpole.tv/ my kids all have unusual names and i've never had any problems!

Thanks v much for your reply. I think there may be a problem with the website. It's giving me this message
"Oups, we could not find any firstname spelled like this

Does Mxxxxxx pronounce like: "


But there is nowhere to click to accept and it will not let me continue.
It's really anoying as I actually did the whole video for my son a couple of weeks ago and previewed it online but I never recieved the confirmation email with the link.

I know the magic santa video plays up with names but ive never had any problems with the one in the link above!

When I did this the other week it didn't recognise the name "Tom" for some reason and only gave me the options of Tim or Tommy!!! So my son has become Tommy for the sake of the video!

i did it for my 2 this evening. One thing i noticed, which i have now worked out why, is that it used my sons name about 5 times, but only said my daughters name once. This is because of the way I input the names, my son is called Evan and this was recognised, but i put my daughters name in as Lizzie and not Elizabeth so it didn't recognise it. They loved it none the less, it didn't spoil it for Lizzie, it was me that noticed it rather than her!!!

Did you use the magic santa one or the portable north pole one??

Finally managed to get it to work - it turns out it was our 'net nanny' type program that was causing the problem. Thanks for all the replies from everyone trying to help particularly mum of 3. Happy Christmas!
