Has anyone seen any Kir Royale (Kir Royal ?) about yet this christmas, the blackcurrant liquer mixed with sparkling wine?
M&S were doing bottle last year but cant find any!

I can't find any but it's dead easy to make your own. The original version was actually made with Champagne but if you use Cava, which is made in exactly the same way, nobody's going to notice the difference.

AFter all that found it in m&s today £4.29 a bottle, think I will try making my own though...

Am really hoping someone can help me find a few bottles of Entwine Kir Royale.

My friends are getting married and bought some of this wine at the Good Food Show in Birmingham, but didnt get enough - Doh!!

Anyways, we have emailed Entwine serveral times (no phone number) and have had no response. We've googled the wine and it comes up saying it stocked in Tesco, Asda and Nisa, but despite phoning and visiting lots of stores we've not been able to find any!!!!

Please, please, please if anyone knows where we can get some more we would really appreciate it!!!

I was so intrigued by fibe's request that I ended up making some for my Christmas treat. It's easy-peasy although I found if I added too much Cassis it tasted like very fizzy, alcoholic Ribena. The Cava was a bit dry so if I was to make another batch I'd probably use Asti Spumante instead. It was still very,very nice though.

If you insist on a ready made version Aldi were selling a version before Christmas and might still have some left. It was £4 a bottle but at 4% alcohol struck me as being rather expensive. So you could 'phone your local branch.

Entwine is out of stock at all the major stores and I can't find it advertised anywhere on the internet
