Oh I know it's so frustrating because I wish I hadn't sold my other one which I loved... but it was sold to go towards paying off a debt so helped us. I just regret selling it because I loved it so much and really miss playing. I've put adds on all my local freecycles but doubt I'll get much response.
A new guitar is the one and only thing I can honestly say that I truly want........ *sigh*
Let's hope freecycle comes up trumps.

Have you got any musical instrument shops nearby? Our local one often has 2nd hand items in and lets you go in and pay weekly with a small deposit - might be worth a look and see if you could do the same - shaving a few quid a week off the food or petrol budget might become fun if you know it's going towards something you want.

Oh IA I know exactly what you mean - I've played the piano since I was 6, and hate that I don't have a piano or keyboard at the moment, I keep looking on Ebay thinking - it's so cheap, I'm sure I could afford it (though I'm normally put off by all the cheap ones appearing to be halfway up the country!)

Do you know anyone that has one? I tend to invite myself round to my parents for dinner a lot, just so I can play their piano!

I got banned from Pigsback because I was using 4 different email addresses/usernames and they sussed my ip address and now I cant use it. I managed to get a Costa voucher off them before they binned me though!

IA - you must PROMISE yourself that in a couple of months when all the debt is gone, Ste is settled into his new job and you are childminding away that your first treat will be a new guitar - I know that this is what you will have if you set your mind to it :):)

I'm worried now lenny, there are 3 pigsback users in my house, me, OH and my son (who's old enough to have an account). Hope they don't bin us too.

It doesn't say you can't recommend someone at the same address Toto, so we should be okay - I hope!
