Hi you lot, I am back at work - not really sure I should have driven to work but I could see the car in front and I just kinda tagged along. OH taken to calling me Victoria Beckham cos I walk around permanently with sunglasses on.

The good news is that I can see a bit better today and I can satisfy my addiction. Although I am not sure it was a good idea to go back and read all the posts I had missed since my last post!

I think I am out of practice - I recently applied to do SMS chatlines but realised I didn't really have the knowledge to carry on!!!

Anyhow, anyone considering laser eye surgery - its not always this bad, some people did walk out with their eyesight still intact - apparently I have thin corneas and big pupils, meaning I have to wait seven to ten days to be able to see better.

Glad to hear the interview went well. My fingers, toes and eyes (although involuntarily) are crossed for a good result!

    Good luck Ste!!!!!!!!!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

If they do offer Ste the job, make sure he doesn't just accept their first salary offer. It's often worth asking for a bit more. Even 10 pence an hour extra adds up very quickly.
  • good luck ste, i hope he gets it sarah, as long as it will benefit you as a family and him... fingers crossed down here :rotfl:

Ouch that car loan has got to hurt. WHat is the status of that one Sarah? Are you able to pay it off early and save money or do they charge the same whatever? I have just totted up the debts you have paid back (including Barclay and they come to over £3500 and if you only had your LBM in October WOW. That is a long way to come in 7 months. Toto is right, just imagine what it will be like in another year. It does not matter how you look at it the Immoral household is amazing.

Anyway I am still sending those job vibes for Ste. I wonder if the interviewer realises she has half the nation on tenterhooks.
