*sigh* Bt REALLY are crap. Just called them asking about the contract etc and they started their usual speil of 'oh we can offer you this this and this if you stay and blah blah blah reduced bill blah blah blah we'll give you bt vision free yadda yadda yadda....'
When she stopped to breathe I kind of gathered that they'd offer us this...

Free Bt vision installation, box and subscription for 12 months
£4 of our bill for whichever package we chose
A note on the account to say if we got any more problems the contract would be null and void and we could leave

 Wonder how much the bt vision boxes go for on ebay?

Edit: Forgot to say we're out of contract now so can leave whenever

I found using a pea size amount of head and shoulders dandruff shampoo (or shops own brand equivilant) got rid of cradle cap very effecively!

Right now I am going to unplug my broadband connection and get writing my essay!

Right.. have had a look round at some internet/phone deals and here's what I've got so far....

Bt are offering us free BT vision, box and installation for 12 months, plus £4 off our bill (Making the top package £23.99 a month for 8mb speed 40gb usage and free evening weekend calls with the god awful home hub.) + vat +calls and line rental (about £16). = about £50 something a month

We don't get sky broadband, talktalk or virgin cable in our area so no chance of those.

Virgin stand alone broadband is £19.99 a month for 8mb unlimited. + bt line rental/calls and vat = about £40 a month

Toucan do 8mb unlimited broadband plus free evening/weekend calls for £14.99, £8.99 for line rental = About £35 a month plus £25 back through quidco

Pipex £27.49 for 8mb unlimted broadband and anytime free calls + bt line rental + vat = £40 something a month + £30 cashback through quidco

Ste's mum is with pipex though and a while back they offered us £30 for everything including line rental as she referred us so we're going to ask her to do the same again.

I called BT back and asked if they could do any better because they were the most expensive but the cheeky bint on the phone said 'Well you get what you pay for don't you' and other crap excuses so here I am complete with MAC code. :)

    the search continues..

I am on tiscali. I get broadband, line rental, free national and local calls all day everyday. £29.99 (I think!)

Pipex (if you can get the deal sounds the nearest to that)

Cradlecap - I found rubbing in olive oil worked well, I used to do it just before DS bath and then used the cradle cap shampoo to get it off basically. Worked much better than Dentinox on its own. I had a teeny bottle that was basically unused from baby massage class as DS HATED it with a passion but quite liked sitting up and watching everyone else. I suppose any veggie oil would work though.
