Have been working out HOW to pay off Barclaycard by end of may baring in mind the new tax credits...
As it stands there's £77.68 in the debt account (or at least there will be when the paypal money clears..)
£108.50 is our new weekly tax credit and there's 5 weds in april (hurrah!)
£77.68 in debt account
£542.50 tc
£120.80 cb
= £740.98
Barclaycard will be about £814 something by the end of April.. so we'd need to find £73 to be able to pay it off..
That is barring any more disasters, that my mat pay is what (and when) I expect, that we can find some stuff to ebay and/or some other way of raising some cash.
It's our friends wedding next month as well and we've got stag/hen dos to go on as well as buying them a present...
Guess we'll see what happens! Even if we don't manage it all we should be able to pay off a bigish chunk of it!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

IA - hope you don't mind, but I have a little question about your anti-d's - I'm on the same as you and Bunny and recently have been completely shattered despite having what I think is plenty of sleep - has this happened to you two at all?
Thanks

Yes, now you mention it. Even though the past 2 nights K hasn't woken up during the night I'm still exhausted .. so you might be on to something there!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I was on anatryptaline, and it turned me into a zombie for approx 12 hours. I've stopped taking them as a result (they were intended for pain relief believe it or not, and they're absolutely crap at that...)"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I fell asleep when I got home from school yesterday - for 2 hrs until the kids came in with their dad! Not like me at all! Think I could easily do it now as well.
Hmm..my next app should be next week (must make it!) so I'll ask then.

IA, well done on DPs being clear, you are beyond amazing clearing all these debts as quickly as you have with disasters thrown in and still have done and become a stay at home mum too. Your family is so lucky to have you. You now have less left to pay off than you have already paid (minus the car loan) how amazing is that? You are truly on the home run.
Anyway the reason for my post is you mentioned your friends' wedding next month. I know it is not everyone that would appreciate this gift but my best friend gave her old flatmate a great present but she didn't have to pay for it all at once. She gifted her a year's supply of toilet roll!! She did say that it cost her more than she thought and Ithink she wondered if they were eating it at one point but the good thing about it was she bought a load at a time and just gave them more when they needed it so they didn't have all that TR at once to store and she got to spread the cost of her gift across the year. Just a thought. I guess you could do it with other things too. As I say it isn't everyone that you could give that to but this couple were delighted0 -
The reason you're still tired after taking AD's is because of how some of them work- the same with night sedation. You experience different rhythms while you sleep and the time that refreshes you is when you are in REM sleep. Problem with these pills is that some (not all) interrupt the bodies circadian rhythm and mean you do not have REM sleep so do not wake feeling rested.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
