Quick question about delivery to NI

I've been looking at a website (a reputable enough company) and they don't mention anything about delivering to NI. This got me thinking...
Given that a lot of companies just don't deliver here, would you assume that if they don't mention it then they don't deliver? Or would you assume that if they don't mention it then they treat us like the rest of the UK and its not an issue? The company is based in Scotland, so its not like its an international thing.
I just don't want to go through the whole hassle of paying them and then having them contact me and tell me that they won't deliver....

When it's not mentioned then you'd be better contacting them to ask. Some will deliver to NI for an extra fee and some won't deliver to NI at all. Rarely do they deliver to NI for the same fee as mainland UK.0

Yeah I think you would be better to ring them first, I was going to order something from a large toy store delivery was £4.95 plus £5 for delivery to Northern Ireland which they classed as an out lying area.0

Hmm, not sure I can agree 100% with you there
have a look at http://www.hisdancingleg.com/ni
it currently lists 47 compaines who dont surcharge (green list)
and 27 who do (red list)
see the links in my signature.I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. But I have since learnt that this is against site rules - so they are no longer here! PM me if you need them0
