  • Update: I checked my bank and no money was taken out for the failed order on the 12th and later that day I had an email from them saying that my order had been cancelled as my payment had been rejected. I logged into their website and checked my account and the order was shown as cancelled.

    However - today I have received another email from them saying "Order Update for Web-xxxx status Order Accepted from Sleek MakeUP" and showing my original order but with todays date!

    I emailed them immediately as I have no desire to reinstate the order - I went elsewhere after all the mucking about and I most certainly haven't authorised any new payment, I emailed: [EMAIL="weborders@sleekmakeup.com"]weborders@sleekmakeup.com[/EMAIL]. and got an almost instant reply stating:

    "
    Dear Customer,

    As our systems have now been refreshed you will received automated emails that should have been received during the sale period - please ignore these they are out of date and invalid –

    Thanks "

    As far as I can tell from my bank no payment attempt has been made so hopefully thats an end to it, but it's possible others will get similar emails after they cancelled their orders so I thought this info might be useful.

  • Has anyone received their orders yet? I have checked on their website and my order is still showing as 'Received'. Mine was one of the orders that went through first time, and I got an order acknowledgement almost straight away, so I would have thought the status would have changed by now - it's a week on! I used their 'contact' form on their website yesterday to try to find out what's happening, and I've had no reply as yet.

    I placed an order on the 12th after numerous site crashes. I have not received anything from them and my status has been showing as order accepted. Today the status has changed to order received - I have sent them 2 emails and had no reply. To be honest I will not be ordering from them again as their customer service is rubbish. No confirmation emails, no reply to customer enquiries. Gonna check now and see if they have actually taken payment for the goods yet - as of yesterday they hadnt.

    Fingers crossed they sort it out soon

    Has anyone received their order yet? I placed my order on 12/11 and despite sending them several emails querying the progress, I never recd anything. This week I have recd daily emails from them advising that my payment has failed and today the order turned up. I emailed them re the payment and they have now advised that they would like me to make a paypal payment. It all seems a bit odd.
  • WOW! .. I just checked their Facebook page and TONS of people didn't ever receive their orders from the sale day!!!

    Its really really BAD as they took the payments from so many people that day ( Glad I didn't order! ) and they don't reply to e-mails and REMOVE comments from the page with no apologies or explanation why people have not received their orders from 2 months ago!!

    I'm not ever going to buy from them and glad I went for an e.l.f. offer in the end - Got my item the very next day and today only e.l.f. are offering free postage AND a free gift!
