Dispute over contracted hours - STRESSED!
Comments
-
Well the situation still hasn't improved and is really getting me down. My manager still hasn't contacted the other stores and has basically said I should be working as quickly as my colleague. I tried to politely say that he should contact the regional manager and have everyone's hours changed to 1pm in that case.
He's changed the days I work so that on busy days (where we have coin deliveries or when Securicor come to collect the cash), the other girl working 7-4 is there instead of me as she has more time to do these extra tasks.
I hate the atmosphere right now as I feel like I am being resented and seen as slow. I am very tempted to step down and take an easier option of being on checkouts. I think the only reason I'm still there is that they don't have anyone to replace me.£2 Savers Club 2014 #74 - £4840 -
Explain that the other girl has an extra 3 hours so she can do 3 hours more work.
Ask them how they expect the same amount of work to be done in less time. You are working at the same speed, just with less hours.0 -
Does the other person do the same job as you? She works 3 more hours than you so of course she can do more than you in a day.
If she wants you to finish everything by 1pm, what does she do between 1 and 4? She gets paid more than you so she should be doing more work.0
