Marks and spencer have an offer on that started yesterday 25% off 6 bottles of wine instore, and they normally take the discount off the full price of the wine before multi buys, so you can get some good deals, :j assistant said its on for 3 weeks  This could be a really good deal combined with the meal for two deal.

If you bought say 6 bottles of wine that were £7.50 but on offer for 2 for £10, it would work out discount off 6 x £7.50 (total £45 original price, so discount would be £11.25
Making it 6 bottle under new offer (2 for £10) would be a total of £30 minus £11.25 so a grand total of £18.75

If you done the meal deal X 6 and wines were £6.00 normally but part of the meal deal you would get a discount of £9 making 6 meal deals £51 instead of £60 hope that everyone can see what im trying to say :p

  • I saw that, I don't think it wil make the mean for two deal any cheaper, you get a standard bottle of plonk with that and it is always a tenner.

I always this use this wine review site when looking for latest wine discounts in the supermarket and reviews of wines.

Look like Tesco also have loads of reductions.

It will work if you buy eg. 6 meal deals, or 2 meal deals & 4 bottles of wine etc, it discounts the price of the bottle of wine regardless of the food offer so you end up paying less for the deal.
  • Thankyou both, could I ask what did u mean when u said 'they normally take the discount off the full price of the wine before multi buys' - does that mean extra discount to the 25%?
    thankyou

Just to get this clear : If you buy a dine in for £10 plus five other bottles, do you get the 25% off the wine, plus the £10 meal deal?

You can also have some meal deals and some seperate bottles it will take into account any wine in meal deals too.
  • Last year the prestige cava was on 2 for £10 at the same time as the 25% off offer, does anyone know if it's on this time?

There are no multi-buy offers on at M & S at the moment, unfortunately - just the 25% off when you buy 6.
  • Thanks chelley33

By the way, if a glitchy offer does appear over the next couple of weeks, as far as I know at M & S you have to purchase in multiples of 6 bottles to get the 25% discount ie 6 / 12 / 18 bottles etc, whereas at Tesco it is any number of bottles over 6 and the discount is applied to all.

Its not on offer at the moment. I reckon it will be on offer before christmas, but it has been recently 2 for £12.

When i see it on offer, i will get back to you as its one of my favourite cava's.
    Keep right on :T
