Anyone tried Bellapierre Pressed Mineral Foundation?

Hi
I was browsing QVC and noticed that they have Bellapierre pressed mineral foundation. I like the idea of mineral foundation but find it very messy, so this looks ideal.
Being MSE, although I know you can return items to QVC, you do lose out on the postage.
So, Im wondering if anyone has tried this product and if anyone can give any feedback on how they have found it?
On QVC its £23 per compact rather than the £39 from Bellapierre direct.
Thanks in advance.

Always search products on make up alley before you buy, it's a great site.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Hi Spend-a-holic,
I had this put on at the counter in House of Fraser, it was a new brand to the store and the staff were keen to get people to try it so I duly complied! (well it was a free makeover so it would have been rude not to!) However, before I could get home I was ready to tear my skin off - it made my face feel sore and dry - and I don't have sensitive skin and by and large can wear anything. I was not impressed with the colour either although that may have been down to poor selection by the salesgirl. I also thought it was a bit pricey.
I second adelight's recommendation about makeup alley - it really is a brilliant site for honest reviews.

Thanks for your response.
I have tried BE in Debenhams on two occassions and had kind of the same reaction. It felt like a mask, and was all dry and most certainly far too orange for my liking.Desperately trying to get debt free!0 -

Thanks for the link. I had tried to google make up alley and have a look but couldn't find the product on there.:wall:
Will have a read through and see what the general thoughts are.

I'm using bellapierre mineral foundation at the moment (cinnamon colour which is perfect for my super pale skin). I have to say I absolutely love it, but only paid around £20 for it on a stall at my local shopping centre, and am dreading it running out because it seems so expensive online. Its not messy at all and is so light feeling on my skin.
It's a shame you can't really try before you buy without losing out on the P&P and QVC only seem to have the darker shades of the foundation, I'm thinking of looking at Lily Lolo as you can get samples from there.
I hope you find the info that you need OP. x0 -
!!! If anyone's been looking at bellapierre, a huge range of their cosmetics (inc loose and pressed mineral foundation in most shades except the very lightest) are 50-60% off on brandalley atm http://www.brandalley.co.uk/FSMarque/Id-5515-Produit-0
I am incredibly tempted by the fair gift set which has half size bronzer, blush and two shades of foundation with three brushes for £31.50 :eek:Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0
