  • Hi, you made me laugh when I read this as I just recently bought a meal for 2 from M&S for my boyfriend and I and to be honest, we were still a bit peckish after the meal. It was more like half a meal for two in our opinion as the portions weren't exactly generous. Food was yummy though but not as great a deal as they make it sound. Anyone else agree with me here?

~Whats the point of buying 6........most of it is unfreezable. unless youve got a huge family.

You could buy six chickens and freeze them I suppose.

To be honest, I only buy this now when it has something like whole chickens in the deal - I find the prepared meals don't really suit me and aren't really so much of a bargain.

i agree with u...we are a family of 4 and only buy when a chicken and the prof roll or apple pie are on offer.....2 small slices of cheese cake arent much use to us....that said it is advertised as dinner for 2 so i cant complain...perhaps u could buy some nice bread or extra veg to help u out
    onwards and upwards
  • i love this but only buy it when its the chicken on offer or the gammon joint as they stretch much more than the other meals. i did manage to get a £6 chicken though so for me the rest is a bargain at that price!
