I want to buy one of these and notice the best current deal is the premier pack on hmv for 270. do people think it's worth waiting for the price to drop (as it's been rumoured) or should I go for the plunge now?
The reason I'm hanging fire is Woolworths recently had the hard drives for sale at 50% off normal RRP. Could this be a sign of things to come?

Not sure that the woolworths 50% off was fully intentional. They don't appear to be selling them at all now, and no other retailer has them for anything like £35!The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.

with the nintendo wii being released in November I would wait a while.Although the nintendo is not trying to compete directly with XBOX360,Microsoft will do whatever it can to keep its market share.Don't expect anything to drastic though this side of christmas as the Playstation 3 launch has been put back until March 07'.Then the XBOX 360 price will drop more dramatically.0
