  • i have a shower every day (usually at night) i use a face wash, the BEST one for me (and i have tried LOTS) is one from asda!! its brilliant i can't remember the name sorry!!!!! costs me like 1.79! so just use wipes rest of time, however if i get a spot (i have PCOS :( ) then i use a clean and clear cleanser morning and night, but a bottle of that lasts me ages. only apply moisteriser in the morning as a base for my make up, and i don't have an expensive one just a boots own. Love hearing about what other people do!!!!! i must say i couldn't go too long without giving my face a proper wash....gets nice and deep into the pores plus the warm water opens your pores so the dirt comes out better

I use wipes in place ot a toner. It gets the residue off from the cleanser, takes away the lime left from the water (Inner city = very hard water level) and also gets rid of eye makeup very well.

I do notice the difference- I need to use far less moisturiser as a result as my skin doesn't drink it all up then complain for more! I also fine its alot easier to remove eye makeup which I otherwise can 'forget' to do (laziness!) and eye makeup left on = early wrinkle contributing factor.

I could never use them in place of a cleaner though, my skin feels sticky and heavy when I have tried this and I just feel....yuck! My skin doesn't feel good, it becomes dull and I feel bad. I like that they help with my cleaner and brighten when used WITH a cleanser but its never going to be as effective as a cleaner for me.

I guess you gotta work out what you need it for. For me, with super dry skin and air con/central heating mania, I need moisturiser daily and night time. Then I wear SPF and then makeup. I also live in a highly polluted part of the UK, London Transport is scarily dirty at times (just try blowing your nose after a day on the tubes!) and then my ever increasing stress levels and sweating it out at the gym... All combined, I need to cleanse if I want decent skin. I feel toning makes a difference which is where the cleansing wipes come in and then the whole thing starts again (moisturiser, SPF, Makeup...)!

Think it depends on your lifestyle, I just know this works very well for me. In the times I can't afford the wipes (rare as they seem to be on offer loads) I exfoliate but I never use the wipes AND exfoliate together.

Face wash, well, african black soup. Even taking my make up off with wipes makes my skin angry! Wash twice a day, toner(thermal spring water exfoliant stuff) in the morning, exfoliate at night, moisturise always!
