bbc website keeps 'connecting'

hi,

i wonder if anybody can help..

im trying to listen to the bbc's listen again feature at work but the message just says 'connecting' and then comes up with a real player error.

It used to work a couple of weeks ago and i dont think that we have had a new firewall put in or that i have deleted any relevent program.

i have got both real alternative and real player on the computer, and i even deleted real player and re installed it when i kept getting this message. Has anybody got any ideas?

oh, just remembered, when i want to listen live, it gives me the option of windows media player, which works, and radio player - which doesnt...

try pasting this link into your realplayer and seeing if it works. This is the link to radio 1 live.
Is it at home you are trying as i know quite a few work places have blocked it nowadays. Have you tried streaming anything else using realplayer?? if not have a go and see if it works. If it doesnt it will be blocked by your firewall or something is up with realplayer (try removing it and use regseeker and ccleaner to remove any bits left)
other than that i cant think of anything else

it is at work so i will try in the morning but it was working a few weeks ago and ive checked and we have not had any new firewalls put in place.

do you know how i can find other streamed stations that will only use radio player, to me it seems that many of them seem to find the 'best' player available on the pc.
