My friend is looking for a puzzle ring for her husband. She cant afford a fortune, but wants a nice looking one. She needs it in a size z + 2, if anyone could help would be very grateful!

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Djewelry&field-keywords=puzzle+ring+z%2B2&x=0&y=0

Amazon have them, but if you Google a bit you'll find more. all sorts of prices, she can spend as much or as little as she likes.;)

has he not made a list?!

it doesnt have to be one "big" present
i mean a football shirt, and games consoles games etc arent cheap!

so if you bought those eg and then other smaller stuff ? books, clothes,DVDs

also it can be something to "go to" as opposed to use eg tickets for a theme park / day out / concert / musical / cinema
or annual pass for somewhere etc ?

tell him if he doesn't know what he wants / make a list soon he will get nowt :D

Some great ideas there. I always get some sort of concert tickets or theatre tickets for Christmas for my daughters, it's something for them to look forward to. My DD15 got JLS tickets last Christmas and she isn't seeing them until 17th December this year :rotfl: but she has been really looking forward to it.
  • Hi
I am banging my head off the wall here.My son has asked for a school bag that he can plug his ipod into/has built in speakers, his friend has got one but i cant find one anywhere on the internet.Anybody have any idea as to where to find such a thing.x
    thanks.

Now, this isn't about the bags, it's just another idea for you! BHS do a range called 'flipback' and they usually do trendy 'teen' style jackets/coats, with built in MP3 pockets, with a wee thing so you can feed the earphones through close to your neck (if this makes any sense at all?!). It might be worth having a wee look?

I knew I had read a post about Campervans.

Saw these today, not sure if anyone else has suggested them yet.

    Sorry link isn't working.

Go to Hawkins Bazaar and type camper into search box. 12 different things come up including build your own camper van and camper van handwarmers etc

    THESE look fab!!

This thread has helped so many people, well done everyone who is helping!!

I am looking for a world globe for DS7, not the floating ones though, just a standard sized globe. Looking to spend up to £20 but the cheaper the better obviously! ;) I should be finished with his presents really, only got a couple more things to get him and this wasn't on the list. Typical!

Wh Smith have a variety available:

I think there is another thread on MSE with money off codes for Past Times but I'm not sure.

ASOS also have a lot of vintage looking clothing and accessories, jewelery etc
    http://www.asos.com/search/pgeSearch.aspx?q=vintage#parentID=-1&pge=0&pgeSize=20&sort=3

Select low to high for prices and you should find quite a few things. I love the earrings for £4 on the first page. Make sure you opt for free delivery if you do order from ASOS

I am also looking for the traditional candle type indoor xmas tree lights, I remember seeing them somewhere a few years ago but can only find outdoor ones now.
