I need to get tools (mechanic type ones NOT DIY ones) for my boyfriend and was wondering if anyone knows of some good things to get with guarantees on (as he has a habit of breaking things easily) at some really good prices and WHERE FROM... I have looked at the Clas Ohlson Catalogue which is great but they do not have a branch anywhere near me.

Snap on are the only company that seem to offer the best warranty on products. They also make a cheaper brand called Blue point, but some of this is not covered. Another lower priced brand is Irwin, which I believe manufactures some of the Blue Point products, Irwin is available on Amazon Snap on & Blue point I couldn't tell you as my dh always gets his bits from the snap on man who visits.
