'smart' radiator valves

Hi all

I saw this product https://www.screwfix.com/prods/87815/Plumbing/Radiator-Valves/Terrier-i-temp-i35-Radiator-Control

I can see how the concept would work well but I wondered if anyone has had them installed?. The company claim a large saving on gas use. I like the idea of being able to have rooms with their own programme but I always thought that it was beneficial to heat the whole house and not have cold spots. I also didn't know if having the temperature control effectively bolted to the source of heat was the best place for it.

So really I am asking if anyone has used these and if the can offer their thoughts on the practicality of them

Thanks

Maty
