Xmas trading hols

Hi
I work for a company in south of england. My working pattern includes working sundays, with day off in week.

As boxing day falls on sunday this year, can you explain what happens as the company is closed this year on that day.

Should i take it out of my holiday allow or do i just lose a days pay?

thanks

I think you'll get paid as it is a statutory holiday but don't take that has set in stone, it all down to what your contract says.

It wont effect the statutory holidays as Sunday 26th December isnt a bank holiday. Tuesday 28th is to make up.

As your normal working day is a Sunday and your work place is closed on that day it is my view that you should be entitled to pay. You are willing to work but they are closed.

do you have any holisay entitlement left ? if not you may not get paid your best bet is to check your contract.
