Boots 1200 points - & estee lauder gift set

hi all
when the 1000 points was on over the weekend I wanted to to order the estee lauder gift set (49) with the cheapest perfume - youth dew, £20. However, it wouldn't let me add it to the basket. I promptly rang CS and said that the site states 'any estee lauder fragrance' not just the ones in the price combos...
after a few mins on hold the guy came back to me and said that on this occasion they would honour it, so I had to buy the £79 combo deal and then call back when it had been dispatched and they would refund the £10, as an absolute bonus I also get to keep the larger sized youth dew worth £30!
I noticed after I had ordered over the phone that the 316 points had gone in, but only 800 bonus instead of the 1000 for spending over £50, so I rang back and they said something about that was the way it worked for perfumes, so I said that i wasn't happy and it didn't state it on the site - so they asked me call back when I received my order to get the extra points added.
I was CHUFFED! refund handled today and the extra points added.
HTH those who are looking to buy in the 1200 points promo, and also for anyone to check they have had the right amount of points added
