I am getting in about making my invites - yay! :j
I have Publisher 2007 on my laptop, but none of the fonts really stood out. I am looking for something a wee bit kind of curly, but easy to read - similar to one called Scriptina I think.
I am cr a p with this type of thing - can anyone recommend somewhere I can get a free font to download, and with easy instructions?
I know it should be easy and for the masses, but I am not coping!

the font you like is here...
http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=2873
Click on the truetype link and it will download.
It's a zipped file so you need to unzip it.
You should have WinRAR on your computer to open the downloaded file in. (If you dont, google it and download it first)
Once WinRAR has unzipped it, in the WinRAR window you should see SCRIPTIN.ttf
Click that and the font will open in a new window. Then just click 'install' at the top. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
i also like the Monterey BT font and Edwardian Script if you can find those. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

Picklepick - you are a star! :j:T:beer: I managed to do it! Thats no mean feat! Thank you! Now that I see it, it's a bit swirly, but might be good for a monogram on the front of the invite! Off to check out the other ones
Thanks again!0 -
I'm a bit of a font addict. I have hundreds and hundreds of them! What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

I've tried Harrington for mines, and it's quite nice - needs to be simple to read though, some are too swirly as you said.0

This is a pretty one slightly swirly but readable

TartanTotty - I'm using forte on mine. It's kind of brust scripty and posh, but dead easy to read. Not sure if its what you're after though.
Magicboo - are Elephant, Goudy Stout or Broadway any good for you?0 -
Magicboo- I think you mean something like Rosewood here...
