You can do it yourself if you wish.
May be that there is a better deal for you if you speak to a 'Whole of Market' broker.
If not then the broker may be able to deal with the lender you chose, meaning you have very little to do.
Why do it yourself if somebody else can do it for you?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Don't forget to query any broker though to make sure the loaning companies benefits are still in place through their intervention i.e. free legal, survey paid or subsidised etc.
Look for the overall cost including benefits, and excluding them as to what the options are ?0 -
Brokers don't work for free.
If the application is straight forward and the applicant is not challenged in the allocation of brain cells then it is fairly easy.

You can't have it both ways.
By this I mean you cantcan i do all htis myslef or do i need to use a broker for maybe bits i cant do.
So you can do it yourself.
Or you can go to the broker to do it for you.
You can't both have a go at doing bits of it.
It's not a case of you do some and the broker does some. If the broker does the case for you they are ultimately responsible for the advice given and therefore any problems that may arise.
If you do it yourself you will then have to deal with the issues as and when they arise.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
