Hello all,
not sure if this is the right place to post this question so here goes: I brought a large Xmas jar candle and stupidly left it on my parcel shelf (although it hasn't actually been sunny!) and it's melted and re set it self :( can I salvage it at all? I can't see the wick. One side has melted up into the lid.
Any help greatly received

  • 2 choices

dig around and find the wick
or dig the whole lot out and re melt

i would dig the whole lot out and re melt
just in a pan, wont stain or make it smell
if its a long or thinish jar
tie the wick onto a pencil
and set the pencil across the top of the jar so it rests
    and gently pour
