Re melting candle?

Hello all,
not sure if this is the right place to post this question so here goes: I brought a large Xmas jar candle and stupidly left it on my parcel shelf (although it hasn't actually been sunny!) and it's melted and re set it self
can I salvage it at all? I can't see the wick. One side has melted up into the lid.
Any help greatly received

Id put it in a pan of water, and slowly melt it, when its fully liquid pick the wick out with a fork or something. and lay it flat on some clingfilm to harden straight. Pour the wax into a tupperware box you don't want anymore.
I'd tie some thread to the top of the wick i.e making it longer. Then put the non thread end into the jar and add about half an inch of the wax. Tie the thread end of the wick around a pencil, which rests over the top of the jar(like you would in candle making like this )- keeping the wick from falling over. then you can pour the rest of the wax in and just leave the pencil until the wax is hard.
Or you could melt it in the jar and just dig around for the wick, and somehow work out how to get it to stay in the middle while it sets.It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'
