I wanna.. advertise a job vacancy for free

As title says, I would like to advertise a job vacancy but on the cheap! At the moment I am advertising in the job centre, on usenet local groups for the area (Warwickshire and Brum), and on Reed Recruitment.

Does anyone know any other websites which allow vacancies to be uploaded for free? I know most allow free registration for applicants but it isn't normally free the other way around.

i have seen jobs advertised on http://www.gumtree.com/ there may be one in your area..hope this helps.

I'm trying to think which sites we used to advertise for free on, definately fish4jobs and something like red goldfish or something. If anything else comes to mind, I shall let you know.

Jobcentre is free, can get lucky and get a good applicant.

When I went on a pre-redundancy course they told me that 70% of jobs weren't advertised at all. They went to friends, relatives, associates or acquaintances of the employer.

Have you tried asking everyone you know that you are looking for somebody?
