Is HSBC graduate the best mortgage rate?

Hi,
Just wondered what other peoples' experiences were of HSBC graduate mortgages?
We are looking at borrowing £150k with a £15k deposit and I've seen that their standard mortgage rates are among the best anyway so if their graduate rate is better that could be the way to go.
My partner who will be on the mortgage with me banks with HSBC and I'm with Halifax.
Any advice much welcome!

HSBC's underwriting is amongst the toughest in the market. So its more a question of them choosing you rather than the other way round.

Just had a look on there website and made up a few details!!!
Now they have a 90% LTV fixed rate deal for 2 years at 5.09%
So putting in your £15K deposit and giving your income as £35K a year ( with no debts!!! not even student loan!) and your partners income as £20K ( no debts!!!) they would lend you both £135K
The fee is only £99 and the payments would be £796 a month fied for the 2 years with 20% overpayments allowed ( you would need to do this to build up equity.0
