    But il be picking up a few bits from the Range and 3 for £20 from lidl and will probably spend £15 in Sainsburys if they run the free voucher again :)
  • been very quiet on here this year....
  • My father hosts a fireworks night every year using a couple boxes of fireworks he buys from a friend on the cheap. I end up spending ages setting them all off so said to him this year I'll double what he pays for them and we'll try to get something decent.

    As this is the first time I've ever bought fireworks I decided to take a look on here and came across this thread.

    For those more averse with buying fireworks is something like this good value;

    - Can't post the URL as I'm not a regular poster on here but it's the 'Firework Crazy Garden Party (Category 2) 2014; from Fireworks Crazy if you wouldn't mind taking a look -

    There's typically several people watching from one end of the garden and it needs to be Cat2 as I don't think his garden length is even 25m. I dread to think what categorisation those old ones were as it looks like buying them from licenced companies can be a bit of a mine field never mind picking them up from a "friend".

    Heyy, youve made a really good choice there, that cat2 pack from Fireworks Crazy looks great value, it contains the little stars pack too which youll see in my pic I posted above :)

    Definitely go for the cat2 pack, the quality is so much better these and its better to be safe than sorry ;)

    Any more questions just let us know! :)

    Most years, Sainsburys have a voucher for £30 of free fireworks (usually a pack of rockets) when you spent £15. Plus thay have a BOGOF deal. Voucher is in the papers, so need to look out for the deal.

    Last time I got 2 boxes of £20 fireworks and the free pack of rockets, all for £20.
