just been down to newsbox fireworks and they are as kind and helpful as can would suggest to anyone who wants good fireworks at a fair price i will have to put a pic on soon and has anyone fired one of this years 25 carrat as the video on lidl just didnt seem as loud as i remembered it last year0

I will not buy TNT stuff. It is the most useless junk. I purchased a similar pack of rockets from Aldi 2 years ago and was extremely disappointed.
I understand that Aldi is selling them for a low price, but what is the point in buying complete crap just because the prices are lower than the rrp?
I'm assuming that Jet Blast rockets are the same ones as last year (they were called Terminal Velocity last year) and they were fantastic and well worth the £10.
I agree with you that the majority of the TNT stuff is awful.0 -

Sorry about that post yesterday regarding the free £30 worth of fireworks at sainsburys
I went along expecting it to be any three as I read the post on Hot Deals, although when I got there I realised that it was a dedicated pack that was free.
I decided to spend £15 anyway as I was going to get a selection pack and some sparklers so I got:
6 packs of long sparklers (also on bogof) so paid for £5 worth and got £10 worth
1 of the £10 selection boxes, wouldn't recommend it to be honest although I did only want it for the wheel and roman candles, the box was absolutely tiny I was shocked haha! The free pack looks OK, you get two largish mines, a large fountain and a 100+ shot roman candle barrage. Would probably be good value at £10-£15 I suppose, although I haven't fired it yet so may be surprised.
Also I saw a couple of adverts in yesterdays newspapers for a £5 at ASDA called PYRO TIME. Says it includes:
2x Rockets
4x Roman Candles
2x Wheels
14x Fountains!
Sounds good value for £5, hoping to pick one up tomorrow for the wheels and the 4 roman candles as these can be good if you manage to fire a couple at once!
Only thing is though is that it doesnt appear on the ASDA leaflet, just in these adverts so Im thinking maybe old stock they want to clear or something? Says while stock lasts too.0 -
