To go with my stash I've also brought the impanema, firefighter and that other one! lol A crappy pack of little rockets.

Our little party is on sunday and I still need to get some smaller kiddy fireworks, I like a couple decent rockets and 1 big cake or something with some power :)

I'm thinking of either doing a trip to Hooties or Latifs. Or is there somewhere near Tamworth/ Birmingham you'd recommend. I have a budget of around £50. mmm sounds a lot to ask for £50 :D

JTF & Latifs are very similar in price & product, I think Latifs may be closer though. I went to the Coventry branch in the week and they had a big selection. Where is this Hooties? And they do Fireworks?

That's amazingly bad! For £39 though, BOGOF (8 rockets) you can get the Brightstar Interstellar Wars :

Can't see the effect too well, awful video, but you can tell by the sound alone this is a proper flash burst rocket :)

Gahh, what a fiasco.. No consolation now I know but next time ask for the Manager or Deputy Manager, tell a small white lie if necessary, say the Manager from so & so (a n other branch) has told me to call your branch to check firework stocks, we need about £1200 for the local residents/scouts etc display but need to stock check/reserve before setting out due to the distance. There was a poster in here few pages back that called Melbicks up and were told that they didn't actually DO fireworks...

Does anyone know where I could get a fiery eye wheel firework, seen videos of them and they look amazing however postage online is £25 :(

Epic sells them for £5.45 so if you live anywhere near there (Barnsley) then that's an option. Unfortunately you'd need to go and pick it up in person as they charge £50 for delivery on all orders under about £250 and I believe that you can only buy in bulk if you order on line anyway.
