Soup recipes that freeze well

I'm on maternity leave just now and am looking to make some soups and freeze them so that we have some healthy food stocked away for when baby arrives and we're not up to cooking much. Seem to have no inspiration today so was wondering if anyone would like to share their tried and tested yummy soup recipes that'll freeze well.

both of these freeze well.
Tomato and red pepper
fry off an onion, and a red pepper, add a tin of tomatoes (or fresh if you like) add a tin of tomato puree, some garlic if you like, add stock (chicken or vegie)
boil up then blitzit's lovely with a dollop of creme freche.
Broccoli and Cauliflour soup
(I hate cauli and brocci but I like this)
fry and onion and garlic in a pan, pop in some broccoli and cauliflour and an unpeeled spud or 2 depending on how thick you want it, add some water and a good splash of lemon juice to preserve the colour add a bit of milk, loads of salt and pepper and boil up and blitz.

Most soups freeze well IME. A tip that might help you when freezing HM soups is to make them as a concentrate.
Follow the recipe as normal but half the amount of fluid. Puree into a thick pulp and freeze. Write on the container the volume of liquid to add to bring back up to normal soup strength.
Defrost and add the left-out liquid and blend.
This way the soup is quicker to freeze and defrost and takes less volume up in the freezer. It is also a brill way to produce vast quantites of soup using only one large stock pot. HTHLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0 -

Most soups freeze well- they're mostly water, after all. Cream-based ones seem to freeze less well, as they tend to separate, but even then, a vigorous whisking while heating usually sorts them out.0
