Hi all
My annual subscription to the Times is soon due and they want £100 to renew.
As it started at £50+ a few years ago and went up each year I suspect they are offering cheaper deals to new punters only
Has anyone any suggestions ?
Tried the Daily Telegraph but they demand a promo code to offer a deal.
thanks

I`ll swap with you. I have tried to subscribe as a new subscriber and they want £182 for the year - £3.50 per week. If they had invited me - as result of completing consumer survey, I don`t know which one - cost would be £1.50 or £2 per week! (£78 or £104)0

I'm in the same trap now.
I have been subscribing to the Times for some years now, and have seen the weekly cost rise every time. It started at £1.50 per week, and now they want £3.00 per week.
I tried going to them claiming to be a new punter, but was told that the charge would be £4.00 per week - so that didn't work.
Has anyone got a promo code that could get me the subscription cheaper?
Thanks0 -
They just sent me a renewal....deffo £2.50 a week. If I remember I'll post the code tonite.illegitimi non carborundum0

TNL-004.
If your £3.00 sub is TNL-005, whats the betting TNL-003 is £2.00, TNL-002 is £1.50 and TNL-001 is £1.00illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Thanks for the code - I'll see how I get on, and let you know.
However, my offer code was TNL-MIG20 -
No luck on that.
It appears that the Times keep a database of to whom they make offers. So couldn't get my quote down.
Apparently if you let you subscription lapse, they sometimes will come back with a reduced offer - but that can be 6 months down the line.0 -
How about ordering in the Mrs name or parents address using a different code?illegitimi non carborundum0
