Selling an endowment mortgage policy..?

My first post on here, so be nice please!

I've got a 15 year old unit-linked endowment policy. I no longer need this to repay my mortgage (good job, since its been a disaster) and am wondering what to do with the money invested to date? I have now stopped making further payments.Maturity is at year 25.

The question is, do I sell it on, leave it to mature, or just cash it in?

I'm sure I've been too brief for a fully informed reply, but what is the generall consensus please?

Thanks in advance,

Woodboy
