Cloud 9 Hair Straightners

Hi, has anyone tried these straightners and if so would you recommend them. My DD is a GHD fan but needs new straightners for Christmas and I have heard a couple of good reviews with regard to the Cloud 9 in respect of caring for the hair better as it has a varying degree of heat that you can control. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't personally have experience with the Cloud 9 ones but I have the Big Ego straighteners which also have an adjustable temperature and would definitely recommend getting straighteners with an adjustable temperature. FYI here's a review of the Cloud 9 ones: http://www.lipglossiping.com/2009/11/17/cloud-nine-hair-straighteners-photos-review/ and a review of the Big Ego ones compared to the Cloud 9 ones http://www.lipglossiping.com/2010/01/12/big-ego-hair-straighteners-review/
Hope that helps in some way! It's a bit of a nightmare trying to find the perfect straighteners!DFW by end of June 2016...! LBM June 2011

I've got cloud 9 straightners and wouldn't go back to GHD at all. My GHD's were making my hair break off and it was like straw because they were so hot. My cloud 9 ones I use at a maximum of 150 degrees and they do exactly the same as GHD's.Virgin CC=£2652, Next= [STRIKE]£102.88,[/STRIKE] Very=£475.60, Natwest=£800, Sainsburys CC=£1777.02, Lloyds CC=£498.29, Lloyds Loan= £13,946.18, Car=£4000Total = [STRIKE]£26,147.23[/STRIKE] £23,849.09:eek:0

Don't know if this will help anyone, but after much deliberation betwenn GHDs and cloud nines for a present for my mum I decided to get the cloud nines.
If anyone is interested in buying from cloud nine I would recommend getting them from
www . cloudninehair-direct . com
This is infact buying them directly from the manufacturer. I rang them up (from their official website at www. cloudninehair . com/) and the nice lady I spoke to told me to buy them from the above website as you get a free designer case and heat mat from them.
It turns out that the two websites are the same, they have the same customer services number and are despatched from their head office! (the phrase she used was official affiliate!)
I hope this helps someone get a bit more value cos they're pretty pricey and its not worth buying it from elsewhere incase you get done with a fake!! :-)
(sorry as i haven't got enough posts i cant post full links!)0
