Not seen this programme as we only have freeview but just had a quick look at the book and it does seem quite funny. I assume you don't need to have seen the programme to appreciate the book?

I have all of Karl's books and they're an amazing read, light hearted and just unbelievable. If you love this kind of humour, i'd recommend getting any of them!

The book that accompanies the series is basically a diary that he has written whilst on his travels. There's a lot of things you would recognise from the show but also a few gems and extra thoughts that he obviously wrote down but didn't say out loud.

No, although the DVD is due out later thsi month so you could catch the shows then!!

It is basically Karl's unique ramblings on the 7 Wonders of the world, as well as the countries they are in.
