Its not every hour;

The Promoter will make at least 3 but no more than 10 random name selections on each day between Monday and Friday during the Operating Period.

So they could do an hourly draw, but even last year i think the most names in a day was 6 or 7.

there were quite a lot of winners initially, i remember towards the end they got scarcer and scarcer though, presumably as more and mor epeople heard about it and registered.
