Natwest - Charge refusal

Hi
After sending a letter to Natwest claming back just over £1000 of charges, I have now received a response from them stating that they believe their charges are fair and reasonable, blah blah blah, and will not be refunding me any money.
Do I now submit a claim via the courts?
Thanks
