Hi there,
Myself and my boyfriend are looking for a mortgage that is way under our afforability levels, does this mean we are more likely to be accepted??
Thanks,
It depends on your % deposit, any debts and job stability etc, they can have funny ideas about what is affordable! If in doubt, see an advisor (preferably someone who has been recommended) A good advisor could save you thousands, hold your hand when you're unsure and help you find a deal you may not have found otherwise.
We are using an advisor and he's been brilliant. I think there is a sticky on choosing an advisor... but if you're struggling alone, don't be too proud to ask for advice because I promise the stress is not worth it!
Woo hoo to Barney, we're hoping to complete end of Nov/start of Dec too!0
