  • So do we think that I could spend £30 tomorrow, pre order the game and pick it up at my convenience later in the week?

No, it all has to be in one transaction.

Can I ask where you've seen this? I only ask because there are rumours flying about all over the place and I've not yet seen one advert confirming them.

Its exactly what I was told too by Customer Services, I posted it earlier in the other Black ops thread.

Think it will be the case, seen it mentioned too many times now!
2010 is the year of bargain shopping! Time to money save, exercise and plan! I like to keep busy :)

I assume that rather than closing at around 10pm, they'll simply stay open.

Apparently, i have just been told by someone in Sainsburys that they will sell it for £25 at midnight on its own as they are not open to do shopping at that time.
Don't think they have a clue how to deal with it!

ONLY £29.97 when you spend £30 or more in store(excluding price of game)

In a single transaction. PS3 & XBOX 360 lines only. Offer only available in store. One per customer. Stickered stock only. Offer ends 14 November .Terms & Conditions apply. See in store for details. While stocks last

I've just spoken to customer services and they said its £37.99 or £10 off if you spend £30.00 so even more of a bargain now at £27.99 :-)

What I don't understand is if the store is opening for an hour at midnight how can they expect you to do a £30 shop to get the discount?

I asked customers services that and she said that offer won't start until all the stores are open on the Tuesday morning.

Possibly but theres nothing stopping you filling a trolley up at 11.30pm then heading to the check out at 12.01am to pay for it...

To be honest Im too embarassed to ask my local branch!! Ive taken tomorrow off work to play the game but my pride is prevently me racing up at 12.01pm to buy it!!!

I might fone them today- I really cannot understand why they wouldnt prefer you to spend the £30 on shopping today, rather than rush about between midnight and 1am getting the shopping!!!

Just got off the phone with my local Sainsburys - they have still not been informed of the midnight pricing.

Well there was a copy of the advert on HUKD yesterday & it was defiantly £29.97 if you spend £30
