Christmas film for a 10 year old

Don't know whether other stores do (worth a check) but Lincoln Poundland has tons of Santa who DVDs in, bought one the other day. Looks like a good film and worth the pound!
I tend to go to CEX for my dvd's too - as christmas films are only watched once or twice a year I'd rather get them there, in fact most of my dvd collection is from CEX and Ebay! Never had a problem with CEX and prices are bargainous! I would personally reccomend: Elf, Santa Clause (all of them), The Grinch, Nightmare before christmas, Home Alone (all 4), Muppets christmas Carol (me and fellow students all LOVE this so you are never too old!), Deck the halls, Fred Claus, Jack Frost, Miracle on 34th Street, Polar Express. Also CBBC did a great xmas film about a family that are homeless and move into a department store, 'The Greatest Store in the world' not sure if it'll be shown this year but keep an eye out on CBBC for it near xmas incase it is, as I loved this when I was younger! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

In the past, newspapers used to give free DVDs of films, including christmas ones. You can often pick them up in charity shops for "a donation". :money:I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0

Why didnt I think of CEX and charity shops, although the charity shops round here would probably sell DVD's at a higher price than CEX. Good tip, thanks.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

My all time favourite Christmas film is The Santa Clause - I caught it on Xmas day when I was about 9 and I've watched it every year since!
Also love the Muppets, they're a classic regardless of age.
I like The Nightmare Before Christmas but it's always felt to me more of a Halloween film and the Boogeyman still creeps me out whenever I watch it! Just doesn't put me in the Christmas spirit.
I saw The Polar Express last year too, it was okay I guess, probably funnier for a kid. I think your daughter might be too old for it though since my brother saw it at that age when it first came out and he seemed quite underwhelmed by it.Thank you competition posters!

That is one of the great films we got from the charity shop that had been a freebie from the newspaper. You may be able to find one, maybe even on ebay? I find the freebie newspaper dvds are usually in a box by the tills at charity shops.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
the only film for christmas is santa claus the movie, none of the new modern versions, but the original. I manged to get it on DVD last year for about £5 from Asda. I love the film. I got it when it first came out when I was about 10 and I am 30 this year and watched it every year in between!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0
