These are the big books as well not just the smaller size so I think its a real bargain.

When I was an Usborne seller these sold at £3.99 per book

These are excellent, a real bargain. Illustrations by the late Stephen Cartwright are an absolute joy. We bought ours ages ago, both my kids love them.

Also, Book People are doing 10 Georges Simenon novels (9 Maigret, one other) for £9.99. Mine arrived last week, nice new Penguin editions to celebrate 75 years of Maigret, with funky retro covers. Sometimes Book People books are specially printed for the Book People (it will say in the front), and sometimes these seem to be on thinner paper, not as well printed, but the Maigret ones are really nice editions.

The collection of poetry books is good value too as these are rarely discounted in book shops. Look for a free P&P code on the vouchers board.

edit: the !!!!!! King-Smith box set at £10 is good too. My sister got this and was really pleased with it. I just don't understand the Rainbow Fairy thing though.

futher to spuds comments, always check the codes/discounts boards, as free p+p codes often on there, and some often work well beyond the date given!!
