Anyone know if this is any good? Says it's the cheapest 42" in the UK.
Bit more than woolies and plasma but £189.97 for an extra 10 inches - I'm sure most men would be prepared to pay :rotfl:

Generally this plasma is regarded as poo all round. Look around the net for reviews.
Obviously its not HD Ready/compatible at 852 x 480 and no HDCP enabled DVI/HDMI socket, if that matters to you.
Why not look at the recently replaced PWD8 (panel only though and if HD Ready doesn't matter) for a couple of hundred extra if this isn't a factor, as that will provide the best SD performance bang per buck ratio (providing you got a tuner and speakers) and is HD compatible.0 -
I will say this only once:
DO NOT BUY THIS TV
For the UK's cheapest 42" plasma TV, you do infact get the UK's worst plasma TV. The retention/burn on these things are that bad you will be restricted to just watching terrestrial TV, because any sort of channel logos will burn into your display well within an hour programme.
Incredibly poor contrast (don't believe the specs, trust me its garbage), annoying high pitched buzzing sounds and pathetic audio quality round off what is almost certainly the worst Plasma set of all time.DONE: Great North Run 09! Raised £452 for the National Autistic Society

Do I take it then, Seanparkin that you're not too impressed with this TV?
