I've finally persuaded my husband that this is the car to buy! Now it's a matter of finding one!

Been on mazda webpage etc to book a testdrive, just waiting for a reply.

Anyone know of anywhere in North Wales / Cheshire that sell them, I havn't spotted one anyhwere!

are there any proud owners out there?

I bought my Toyota from http://www.drivethedeal.com/
They were cheapest by nearly a grand.
I think it works like this:
They buy cars as part of a fleet purchase at greatly reduced prices.
They then sell it to you at a discount.
They win
You win.
Sorted.

It worked for me, I saved £900 2 yrs ago on my corolla T2.

They sell most car makes.

Hope this helps, if only to quote their price to your local garage for some bargaining power.

Welshlamb, the RX-8 is definitely one sexy car. Won international engine of the year last year I believe. Problem is it looks faster than it really is. It is quick but not that quick.

Have read excellent reviews about it...just cant wait for the test drive. My only problem then will be which colour to go for....

Yeah, that's about right WelshLamb but I was expecting 0-62mph to be in the high 6's. Still no slouch like I said. Have you considered the Honda S2000 roadster which is similarly priced, it's a little bit quicker and the top can come down, has 2 seats less and a smaller trunk. Oh but you also get a start button. hehe.

Currently got a Honda, more of a family car though. If I didnt have my two little angles I could easily be persuaded to opt for the very sexy Honda s2000...

but that picture of the Mazda just confirms that it is a beauty!! Might have helped me with the "colour" decision too!
