When Debenhams, or any other competitors for that matter, do a sale like this one, John Lewis will always respond. It's to do with their never knowingly undersold policy. So, whatever Debenhams has in its sale will be equalled or bettered by John Lewis. I expect it has to be a like-for-like item though.

Yes, I've just checked their web site and they're doing a 'Price Match' because of the Debenhams sale in the stores and on-line. It's a win-win situation!

hello everyone im new to this forum just registered up although i have been reading it for a while

love this thread!!! got all my debenhams orders today but they were in different bags and delivered at different times but i am very happy! the wrapping paper set for £3 was amazing! 4 very high quality wrappers with lots of tags to make pressies look amazing! would definitely recommend this to people

Yes, as I said, John Lewis were already cheaper than Debenhams and have now matched with their own 10% off on perfume. I bought two Christmas presents today. Result!

Debenhams staff get thirty percent discount but if your a temp it could be as low as 15%, At the moment tho everyone is gettin a futher ten percent, You should get 25% at least, hope this helps x

remember debenhams amazon store is also taking part, and has separate stock supply/fulfilment centre so its worth checking incase debenhams.com is out of stock on some items.

The amazon store has similar prices, as well as the free delivery and free returns.

Most stores make you wait 4 weeks before you get your staff discount card. We get 20% off with the normal discount card or 25% with the Santander staff store card. The lovely big bosses are also giving us an additional 10% off until sunday for megaweek. I have been getting things for 60% discount - I love working for debenhams.

Doea anyone know the returns policy on goods bought online? in store returns are now till 29th Jan, but the assistant didnt know if this was applicable to online goods bought as presents.
