Hi all
I have just gratefully received a Swan Teasmade (model DO1) courtesy of a very kind Freecycler. But he never used it much and it comes without box or manual. It has two buttons, one says SET OFF NOW and the other SET OFF SNOOZE. Does anyone know how to operate it please? Here is the image of one, just so you know the one I am talking about.

Thank you very much for any help you can give me!

Thank you for your post Desperate Housewife, but that is the newer version, I have the older version and it has two buttons, nothing as fancy and digital as the new one! But thanks anyway for trying.Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

You could try contacting Swan at http://www.swanproducts.co.uk/contact_us.php to see if they have any instructions or can answer your query

'Set' - ie set to go when the alarm goes;
'off' - means off - ie, clock will work, kettle won't boil, alarm and light won't go off
'now' means will boil kettle, now and make a cuppa for you straight away.
Fill it with water and tea bags, set the clock and alarm up and have a play! They're pretty straightforward really.
If you're still struggling, pm me - we've probably got an instruction booklet kicking about somewhere....Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
Thank you all and especially mandragora, I had thought that it works as you explained but was not sure.
The thing worked but the tea tasted awful! I am now going to boil it a few times with water and lemon juice and then a few more times with water only and see if it gets any better!Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
