I hope I posted it in the correct section.

So I currently live in Lewisham which I don't like.
I am thinking to move to a nicer place.
I really like Camden Town and Canary Wharf, but is a bit pricey for me.
Any suggestions?

I know this isn't going to be particularly helpful, but I think you'll find that everywhere in London has its nice and grotty bits, even Lewisham. And the nice bits tend to be pricey, and the grotty bits a tad less pricey.

I grew up in Charlton, DH in Woolwich, the in-laws live in Blackheath. Canary Wharf strikes me as soulless, but that's probably a reflection of me not the place!

    Thanks, any other thoughts?
  • I guess it depends what sort of area you want to live in. I've lived in Mudchute before which is a few stops up from Lewisham and I had a really nice houseshare for £120 a week but it's a residential area with not much else around but houses. Would you rather live somewhere quiet or busy?

  • I live in Canary Wharf and it is pricey. Leytonstone is not the best place
    It's Britney !!!!!!:T
  • Why IN London - we live about 1/2 hour outside London on Surry/Hampshire/Berkshire borders and it is lovely, it is quiet, and I suspect less expensive than London itself. We are about 1/2 hour from Feltham.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
