Tesco Cheese

I've just been to Tesco and they have Cathedral City Extra Mature 350g
3pks for £4.50
There was no left where all the cheese was but then at the end of the isle they had loads (Prescot) i think it's on offer until tomorrow.

Simple - by screwing the suppliers of the cheese and the farmers that produce the milk.
  • They are doing it on Pot Noodle as well.
  • On the Tesco website it says the offer is on until the 9th of November but this could just be online and not instore! Get down there fast people x

It's a good price, but not a mega bargain as the packs are smaller than most 'large ' sized packs.
You are getting 1050g for 4.50

At the deli counter they have Pilgrims Vintage cheddar at £4.50 per KG and an Australian Murray Creek mature cheddar at £5.00 per KG.
At my local store they have different size pieces of these already cut and shrinkwrapped/priced. So you can get cheese at the same price without buying 3x 350g pieces.

A good tip is to always compare the price per kg.

Yes, that's a good point - but also take into account that the 3 for 1 is EXTRA mature cheddar, it is quite a bit stronger than the Pilgrims Mature, so if you like strong flavoured cheese (me!) then factor that in - also, that you can get this online - my nearest store is 15 miles away...

Shame it doesn't include the lighter one :(
